How do I join the club?

To join the club you will need to download and complete the NSFC membership form and drop it in to one of the following people/places:

- The Nitrodude Shop in Kambah
- The Club President, most likely to be found at the Tharwa Field
- The Club Treasurer, most likely to be found at the Tharwa Field
- The Club Vice President, most likely to be found at the Williamsdale Field

Feel free to contact the Club Secretary if you need assistance in submitting your membership form.

Once your membership application has been approved and sent off you will be issued with an MAAA number and card which grants you the insurance coverage that will allow you to fly at any MAAA affiliated club.

How do I get to the Tharwa field?

The Tharwa field is located just past the town of Tharwa as you head towards Adaminaby on Nass Road. The club is clearly visible from Nass road as it is right next to it. It is just before the Namadgi Visitors Centre.

How do I get to the Williamsdale field?

Basically you just head straight down the Monaro Highway towards Cooma. The field is located about 1km before the Petrol Station at Williamsdale.

The club is visible from the Monaro Highway on the right hand side as you are heading towards Cooma.

The most popular day for flying at the Williamsdale field is Sunday.

When are club meetings held

Club meetings are held monthly on the first Monday of each month. They are held at the Canberra Southern Cross Club in Tuggeranong and typically run from 19:30 - 21:00. All club members are invited to attend.
